Having starred in this past summers Aloha, Southpaw, season 2 of TV Show True Detective and having finished filming on the movie Spotlight Canadian actress Rachel McAdams has truly been having a busy 2015. After sometime of hearing rumors McAdams has confirmed that her next project will indeed be Marvel’s Doctor Strange. McAdams role is currently unknown but it has been rumored she will play the female lead in the film.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars in this Marvel story first as doctor Stephen Strange a neurosurgeon who, after a horrific car accident, discovers his unique magical powers and alternate dimensions. Strange then meets the Ancient one played by Tilda Swinton and learns how to control his powers and ultimately becomes the Doctor Strange we know from the comics. Playing the villians in this film are none other than Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelson.

Doctor Strange will be directed by Scott Derickson and will be released November 4th, 2016.
