With Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs coming in a few weeks, many wonder what his follow up will be after that film and looks like we got our answer, Trainspotting 2. Boyle recently confirmed with Deadline at the Telluride Film Festival, that he is indeed working on a sequel, “All the four main actors want to come back and do it. Now it is only a matter of getting all their schedules together, which is complicated by two of them doing American TV series.” The 4 actors he is referring to are Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle and Ewen Bremner. Kelly McDonald and Kevin McKidd were also apart of this 1996 movie about a group of heroin addicts in a poor 1980s area of Edinburgh, Scotland and their journey through life. The film has been voted as the greatest Scottish film of all time.

Currently no other word has been mentioned as far as the production of the film and when it will start. Nor the release date of said feature.
