Recent Grammy award winner Sam Smith teased on twitter his possible involvement with the upcoming James Bond feature Spectre. Smith posted on twitter a picture of him wearing a ring with the symbol of the Spectre organization. Right now there is no confirmation.

If Smith were to join he would join a long list of artist who provided their vocals for theme songs in the franchise. Some of these artist include Alicia Keys, Jack White, Nancy Sinatra, A-Ha, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Duran Duran, Garbage and Tom Jones to name a few. Smith previously denied that he would record a song for the movie saying “That’s not me, That’s definitely not me. I’ve still got loads to do. I’ve got an Australia tour, but I kind of finish in December which is great, it gives me a chance to be in London, be in my home and go out with my friends.” However now it seems things may have changed.

Ed Sheeren, Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Lana Del Rey and Adele (again) were all rumored to be choice artist for the movies theme song.

Spectre is the 24th Bond film and the 2nd to be directed by Sam Mendes. Once again for the 4th time Daniel Craig plays the iconic James Bond character. The movie hits theaters November 6th.
