Possibly the two coolest names in Hollywood team up again for the first time since the cult classic, Signs. M. Night Shyamalan and Joaquin Phoenix are set to be a part of Shyamalan’s next film. Shyamalan will direct with Jason Blum and Blumhouse Pictures to produce.
The film is not yet named and no plot details have yet to be released. Shyamalan is very good at hiding detail from his movies but they all have a common theme, the supernatural world. Blumhouse Pictures produced The Visit which is Shyamalan’s newest film which comes out in a couple of weeks.
Phoenix has a strong reputation of being picky with his roles and with Shyamalan making flop after flop as of late it is surprising that he is onboard. The last time these two teamed up they both put their names on the map. Production starts in November in Philadelphia so stay tuned for more news in the coming months.
