Jinkies! After several years of work, Warner Bros. finally has a new Scooby Doo movie coming to reality. According to Deadline, the production company tagged Tony Cervone to take over a new animated Scooby Doo film. Cervone has previously worked on several Looney Tunes films and even worked on Space Jam back in 1996. Charles Roven and Richard Suckle are also on board as producers, having previously been involved with the last Scooby Doo movies. After huge box office gains with a 2002 live-action film, the 2004 sequel under performed and possibly scared away any potential reboots. As of now there’s no word on the animation style of the film, it may even be done in 3D CGI. However it will still be a while until the film is released, with Warner Bros. setting aside September 21st, 2018 as a possible release date.
