A new Steve Jobs trailer has been released and we get to see more of Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender’s portrayal of the late Apple co-founder. In the trailer it is made abundntly clear that Jobs isn’t quite liked by everyone. Seth Rogen’s Steve Wozniack asks in the trailer “What do you do? You’re not an engineer. You’re not a designer. You can’t put a hammer to a nail. I built the circuit board. The graphical interface was stolen. So how come, 10 times in a day, I read Steve Jobs is a genius. What do you do?” and Jobs responds “Musicians play their instruments. I play the orchestra,” we later see Jobs telling an employee “You had three weeks; the universe was created in a third of that time,” in regards to resolving a problem. Through out we see that despite Jobs Genius creations, he had very complex and sometimes unpleasant relationships with many people including ex-Macintosh marketing chief Joanna Hoffman played by Kate Winslet, former Apple CEO John Sculley played by Jeff Daniels and Ex-Girlfriend Chrisann Brennan played by Katherine Waterston.
Steve Jobs is directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin who adapted the script off of Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography “Steve Jobs“. The movie, is set to not only look at Jobs himself but 3 of Apples best products. The movie hits theaters October 9th. Scroll Down to check out the trailer.
