Back in 2009 it was announced that a film named Triple Fronteir was going to be made and was to be directed Kathryn Bigelow. However for a few years now the movie has been in development hell, that is until now. According to reports 3 big names are being eyed right now to join the project, Oscar winners J.C Chandor, Tom Hanks, and two time Oscar nominee Will Smith.

Triple Frontier, which was originally titled Sleeping Dogs, is a South American thriller Originally written by Mark Boal. The title is in reference to the border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, which is one of the most dangerous regions in the world due to the large amount of organized crime that goes on there.  Tom Hanks and Will Smith will likely not be the only big names in the film, as there are five main characters that the ensemble movie will focus on. No other news has been said on the flick.
